Leaping Around the Globe to Learn the Continents!

Yesterday Joshua slept till 10:15 and today Logan slept till 9:30. My kids NEVER sleep that late. They are normally up and going by 7:30. Will school ever start on time?

In this picture, my kids are doing the Rhymes in Motion from week one in Little Hearts. They were supposed to just do movements and say the continents, but I modified the activity. I cut out the continents and placed them in a big circle that represented the globe. I know the continents should be bigger and touching each other, but I thought it would be easier if I made them separate.
My kids did the large motor skill movements around the globe and went to the continent and pointed while saying the rhyme. This activity went over splendidly. It has been their favorite activity so far.

We have an art project to make a collage with a Cross in the middle. The Cross is in the middle to represent `Jesus is the center of history or "His Story".
